Step one: Start by mixing the yogurt with salt thoroughly until the mixture is well combined.

Step two: Place the mixture in the cheesecloth bag and make sure it is sealed tightly.

Step three: Place the bag in a strainer, then place the strainer over a bowl.

Step four: Let the bag drain outside the refrigerator for 24 hours.

After two days, shape the yogurt into small balls. Place the balls on the cheesecloth bag and cover them with another cheesecloth or a clean piece of fabric. Leave the balls in the refrigerator for 5 to 6 days until they dry and firm up.

After 5 to 6 days, place the balls in a clean jar and submerge them in olive oil. You can also dip the yogurt balls in sesame, red chili powder, thyme, dried mint, oregano, or black seed.
