- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Liquid vanilla
- 1Cupwater
- 4Tablespoons (tbsp)Cocoa

"In a large bowl, mix the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Combine them well until evenly mixed. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and place it on a cooling rack to cool completely."

"Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla to the dry ingredients. Mix using a hand or electric mixer on medium speed until you achieve a smooth and well-combined batter. Gradually add the hot water to the mixture and blend slowly until the water is fully incorporated. The batter will be somewhat thin, which is normal."

"Pour the batter into a greased cake pan or one lined with parchment paper. Place the pan in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean."

Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove it from the pan and place it on a cooling rack to cool completely.

"In a small saucepan, heat the milk. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the cocoa powder, oil, and sugar. Whisk well until all the ingredients are dissolved and you have a smooth sauce."
