Ingredients

  • 3Psc.lemon
  • 4Psc.Carrot
  • 3Psc.Green chili pepper
  • 3Psc.Red chili pepper
  • 0.3CupWalnut
  • 1ClovesGarlic
  • 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Coarse salt
  • 0.5CupOlive oil
  • 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil

Steps

    Place the lemons, carrots, and hot peppers in a large glass bowl.

    Add the walnuts, garlic, and salt.

    Mix all the ingredients well until combined.

    Place the mixture in a strainer for 1 hour to remove excess liquid.

    After draining, place the mixture in a sterilized jar.

    Pour olive oil and regular oil over the mixture until fully covered.

    Close the jar tightly and leave it on the kitchen counter.

    After 1–2 days, the Makdous is ready to serve and can be enjoyed with labneh.
