Ingredients

  • 2Grams (g) Self-raising flour
  • 0.25Grams (g) Butter
  • 0.75Tablespoons (tbsp)Buttermilk
  • 2CupSugar
  • 0.5PinchSalt
  • 1CupMilk

Steps

    Place the flour in a large bowl.

    Add the cold butter to the flour.

    Rub the butter into the flour with your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

    Add the sugar and salt to the mixture.

    Pour in the buttermilk and mix the ingredients until the dough comes together.

    Transfer the dough to a floured surface.

    Fold the dough over each other four times as shown in the video

    Shake off the excess flour and roll out the dough into a 1-inch-thick square

    Use a round cutter to cut the dough into small circles.

    Place the biscuits side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper

    Brush the top of the biscuits with milk using a pastry brush.
