  • 1Cupwater

Steps

    Prepare the dough: Mix white flour with brown flour, sesame seeds, nigella, and salt.

    Gradually add lukewarm water and knead until you get a smooth consistency.

    Cover the dough and let it rest for 30 minutes.

    Prepare the filling: Peel and coarsely chop the onion.

    Add the onion spices (cumin, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon salt, 1 teaspoon cardamom) and stir well

    Add half a liter of olive oil and rub them well

    Place the onions in a saucepan, cover and cook until tender

    Preparing the chicken Chop an onion, add the same spices as the onion, add the mixed spices and turmeric, then put the chicken and olive oil and rub them well.

    Put the chicken in a pot on the fire, then add a little water, cover the pot and leave it until cooked.

    Put a little broth on the onions to enhance the flavor, then roll out the first layer of dough and place it on a baking sheet.

    For the second layer, put the onions and chicken, then put a layer of dough and repeat the process until the amount of chicken is finished

    In the penultimate layer, we put the onion filling only, put a layer of dough on top of it, boil it well, make holes and put oil in it as shown in the video

    Cover the tray with aluminum foil and bake in an oven preheated to 175 degrees Celsius for one and a quarter hours.
