Swiss Roll Cake
Ingredients

- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 0.75CupFlour
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 1CupPowdered sugar
- 5Teaspoons (tsp)Strawberry Jam

Whisk the eggs with sugar and vanilla using an electric mixer until the mixture doubles in volume and becomes lighter in color.

Sift the flour with the baking powder two or three times to ensure there are no lumps.

Gradually add the flour to the egg-sugar mixture and fold gently to preserve the air in the batter.

Pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 190°C (374°F) for 10–12 minutes.

Immediately after removing from the oven, sprinkle powdered sugar on a clean towel and invert the cake onto it.

Roll the cake immediately while it is still hot using parchment paper or a clean towel, then let it cool.

Carefully open the cake and spread strawberry jam evenly over the surface.

Roll the cake again gently and place it in the refrigerator to set.
