    Chop the onion, carrots, potato, and tomato into medium-sized pieces

    In a large pot, add the lentils, chopped vegetables, parsley stems, cumin, salt, black pepper, and turmeric.

    Pour in the water, then bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat.

    Reduce the heat and let the soup simmer until all ingredients are fully cooked.

    Cut the bread into thin slices, then add olive oil and a pinch of salt and put it in the oven until it is golden in color.

    Grind the soup with a hand blender until smooth and homogeneous.
