Ingredients

- 1CupSugar
- 1PinchSalt
- 2CupOlive oil
- 1.5Cupwater
- 1BunchSpinach
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Pepper paste
- 1CupPomegranate molasses
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Sumac
- 1Psc.Onion
- 2Psc.Lemon juice

Dough: We mix 3½ cups of sifted flour with 1 teaspoon of sugar and 1 teaspoon of salt.

We add 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1¼ cups of water (we can adjust the water amount depending on the type of flour).

We knead the ingredients until we get a smooth, cohesive dough

We divide the dough into equal balls, brush them with oil, place them in a pan with oil, cover them, and let them rest for 4 to 6 hours.

We roll out the dough with oil as shown in the video, then divide it into two halves.

We place the spinach filling in each half, roll them into a roll shape, and shape them as shown in the video. We sprinkle sumac on top.

We bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden and crispy.

Spinach Filling: We wash the spinach well, then chop it, squeeze out the excess water, and use 1½ tablespoons of salt to remove any remaining moisture.

We add finely chopped onions to the spinach.

We add lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of bell pepper molasses, and 1 teaspoon of pomegranate molasses.

We add 2 tablespoons of sumac and 4 tablespoons of olive oil

We season with salt to taste and mix the ingredients well
