Pasta with Broccoli

- 2Grams (g) Butter
- 1CupOlive oil
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Chopped White Onion
- 2ClovesMinced garlic
- 2CupFlour
- 360Milliliters (mL)Cooking Cream
- 200CupGrated cheddar
- 1PinchSalt
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika

Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot, then cook the pasta until it's almost fully done (about 7 minutes). Drain and set aside.

In a deep skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and crushed garlic, and sauté until soft and golden.

Add the diced chicken along with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until the chicken changes color and starts to cook through.

Sprinkle two tablespoons of flour over the mixture, and stir for a minute to eliminate the raw flour taste.

Pour the cooking cream over the mixture and stir gently until it begins to simmer.

Add the chopped broccoli florets to the sauce and let it cook on low heat for 3 minutes until tender.

Add the boiled pasta and shredded cheddar cheese to the pan, and stir until the cheese melts and everything is well combined.

Pour the mixture into a suitable baking dish, then sprinkle extra cheddar cheese on top.

Place the dish in a preheated oven at 200°C (392°F) and bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts and turns golden on top.
