  • 1CupFlour
  • 1Cupwater
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch

Steps

    Clean the shrimp well and butterfly it from the back

    Prepare the marinade by mixing minced garlic, salt, cumin, paprika, fish spices, dry coriander, black pepper, and lemon juice.

    Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for 1 hour.

    In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour with 1 cup of water to make the first coating.

    another bowl, mix 1½ cups of flour with 1 tbsp cornstarch, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp paprika, and 1 tsp fish spices for the second coating.

    Dip each shrimp first into the flour-water mixture, then coat it in the dry flour mixture.

    Deep fry the shrimp in hot oil until golden and crispy

    Place the shrimp on a wire rack to drain excess oil.
