Ingredients
- 4Tablespoons (tbsp)All-purpose flour
- 1.5CupWarm water
- 2CupMilk powder
- 1.5PacketYeast
- 1CupSugar
- 2PinchSalt
- 2CupOlive oil

Dissolve the sugar and yeast in warm water

We add the remaining ingredients, and if needed, whole wheat flour can be added with a little water. We knead well until we get a smooth and elastic dough.

Cover the dough and leave it at room temperature until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into small balls and let them rest for 10 minutes.

Roll out the balls and spread the za'atar or cheese mixture on top.

Bake them in a very hot oven until they turn golden brown.

Tip: To keep the manakeesh warm and soft, you can cover them with a towel after baking or refrigerate the dough for use the next day.
