- 5Psc.eggs
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 170CupChocolate
- 0.3Tablespoons (tbsp)Cocoa
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Instant coffee
- 0.75CupBoiling Water
- 1Grams (g) Sour cream
- 1.75CupFlour
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda

Add the cocoa powder and coffee to the chopped chocolate.

Pour the boiling water over the chocolate mixture and stir until fully melted and smooth, then set aside to cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, beat the soft butter with the brown and white sugars until creamy.

Add the eggs one at a time, with vanilla, mixing well after each addition.

Add the sour cream to the cooled chocolate mixture and stir to combine.

Add one-third of the flour mixture to the butter and egg mixture, and mix until just incorporated.

Pour in half of the chocolate-sour cream mixture and mix gently.

Add another portion of the flour and mix.

Add the rest of the chocolate mixture and the remaining flour, mixing gently with a spatula until well combined.

Grease the cake pan with butter, then dust it with cocoa powder instead of flour

Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Tip: If sour cream is not available, mix two tablespoons of strained yogurt with one tablespoon of cream and a few drops of lemon juice as a substitute.
