- 1CupIced water
- 2CupBread crumbs

We cut the onion into rings of the same thickness.

We remove the inner layer from the onion rings.

We place the onion rings in a dish, sprinkle a spoonful of flour on them, and then mix them well.

In another bowl, we mix a cup of flour with a quarter cup of cornstarch, a teaspoon of salt, black pepper, chili pepper, and garlic powder.

We add the egg and a cup of ice-cold water to the flour mixture and knead the ingredients well, then we set it aside.

We prepare another dish for the breadcrumbs.

We first dip the onion rings in the flour mixture and then in the breadcrumbs.

We can fry it immediately or put it in the freezer for half an hour to improve the frying.

After that, we fry the onion rings until they turn golden and are cooked through.
