    Place the leaves between a clean towel or paper towels and gently press to remove excess water without squeezing or rubbing, to avoid tearing the leaves during washing and draining.

    Leave the thyme leaves to dry completely for approximately one hour.

    Once fully dry, store the thyme in an airtight container or plastic bag in the refrigerator; the thyme will remain fresh for several weeks while retaining its color and aroma.
