Ingredients

  • 2CupTeff flour
  • 2Grams (g) Instant yeast
  • 2CupBrown sugar
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Gluten free baking powder
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 0.5CupPsyllium husk gel
  • 60CupOlive oil
  • 0.75CupWarm water
  • 1CupCheese
  • 1Psc.eggs

Steps

    We mix the teff flour with the instant yeast, brown sugar, gluten-free baking powder, and salt well.

    We add the psyllium gel and olive oil.

    Add the warm water gradually, kneading until you get a firm dough, then let it rest for 30 minutes.

    We roll out the dough using teff flour, then shape it using ready-made molds.

    We add cheese inside as a filling and brush the tops with egg.

    We bake the pies in a preheated oven at 200°C until golden and fully baked.

    Note: Psyllium gel (made by mixing two tablespoons of psyllium husks with half a cup of hot water and allowing it to set)
