- 1Grams (g) Butter
- 1CupGrated Parmesan cheese

Cut the potatoes and beetroot into thin slices using a sharp knife or slicer.

Boil the potato slices in milk with salt and a sprig of rosemary for 10 minutes over medium heat—do not fully cook them

Prepare the cream sauce by combining the cream, crushed garlic, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, and a teaspoon of salt, and mix well.

Grease a baking dish generously with butter.

Arrange a layer of potatoes in the bottom of the tray and sprinkle with black pepper

Add a layer of cream sauce, a layer of sliced boiled beets, another layer of cream sauce, and finish with a final layer of potatoes.

Pour ½ cup of the reserved milk (from boiling the potatoes) over the top.

Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the surface.

Place the dish in a preheated oven and bake at 180°C with bottom heat only for 30 minutes.

Turn off the bottom heat during the last 10 minutes, then turn on the broiler until the top is golden.
