- 1Psc.Bell Peppers
- 2CupPomegranate molasses
- 0.5To TasteBlack pepper
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder

- 1Psc.Green chili pepper
- 12Psc.Pitta Bread
- 0.5CupOlive oil
- 0.5Cupwater
- 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)All-Spice

In a food processor, blend garlic, onion, tomatoes, parsley, mint, sweet pepper, pomegranate molasses, spices (regular spice mix, black pepper, ground cardamom, crushed chili flakes), salt, and green chili (if used).

Mix the ground meat with the blended vegetables and spices.

Cut each loaf of Arabic bread in half.

Brush the inside of the bread with a little olive oil.

Add a thin layer of the meat mixture on the bread (to ensure it cooks well).

Brush the bread with a little water and olive oil on both sides.

Heat the grill (or pan) over medium heat, then grill the arayes for 5-6 minutes.

Alternatively, bake them in the oven at 200°C, with heat from the bottom, until golden and cooked through, or grill them over charcoal.

Serve the arayes with yogurt and cucumber salad.
