  • 1CupDates syrup

Steps

    Dissolve the Karak tea sachet in a cup of hot water and stir well.

    Place the ghee in a pot over heat.

    Add the barley flour and stir until it toasts and changes color slightly.

    Gradually pour the Karak tea mixture into the pot while stirring continuously

    Keep stirring over low heat until the mixture thickens

    Pour the talbina into a serving dish.

  7. 7

    Garnish with pecans and a drizzle of date molasses, as desired.
