Soak the chickpeas in water overnight.

In the morning, wash and drain the chickpeas well.

Place the chickpeas in a pot with fresh water and half a lemon’s juice, then cook for 15 minutes until partially tender.

In a blender, add the onion, tomato, and garlic.

Add the tomato paste, water, salt, cumin, chili powder, and dried coriander.

Blend the ingredients until smooth.

Pour the sauce mixture into the pot with the chickpeas.

Let the chickpeas simmer for 20 to 30 minutes until fully cooked and well combined.
