  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
  • 1Grams (g) Fennel

Steps

    Soak the fava beans and chickpeas overnight.

    Place in the food processor half a bunch of cilantro, half a bunch of parsley, half a bunch of dill, 1 white onion, 1 green onion, 5 stalks of leek, and 4 cloves of garlic.

    Blend the ingredients well.

    Add the chickpeas and fava beans.

    Add 1 tbsp salt, black pepper, coriander, cumin, paprika, and fennel.

    Add 0.5 tsp seven spices and 1 tsp sesame seeds.

    Mix the ingredients again.

    If needed, add 1-2 tbsp water for smoother consistency.

    Before frying, add 0.5 tsp baking powder.

    Shape the falafel into discs and fry them in hot oil.
