Ingredients

  • 1.5CupMedium-grain rice
  • 0.25Grams (g) Ground meat
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1To TasteBlack pepper
  • 1CupRoasted pine nuts
  • 1Cupwater
  • 2Psc.Kohlrabi

Steps

    Sauté the minced meat in ghee over medium heat for 5 minutes until it changes color, then add salt and black pepper.

    Add the chopped kohlrabi to the meat and stir together for 5 minutes.

    Cover the meat and kohlrabi with water, then cover the pot and leave it over low heat for 15 minutes until the kohlrabi is cooked.

    Add the soaked and drained rice and add salt to taste.

    Add more water if needed, then leave the pot over low heat for 20 minutes until the rice is cooked and absorbs the flavors.

    Garnish with pine nuts before serving, if desired.
