Heat the cold rice in the microwave or steam it until warm.

Prepare the shawarma marinade by mixing 1 tablespoon of yogurt, a squeeze of lemon, 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil, 1 tablespoon of ketchup, garlic as needed, and spices (salt, pepper, paprika, cardamom, curry, and chicken seasoning) in a bowl.

Add sliced chicken breast to the marinade and mix well until fully coated.

Fry the chicken pieces in a pan with a piece of butter over medium heat until golden and cooked through.

Prepare the white sauce by mixing 1 liter of cooking cream and 1 can of cream in a pot over low heat until smooth.

In a baking dish or Pyrex, spread a layer of white sauce at the bottom.

Add a layer of heated rice and distribute it evenly

Place a layer of marinated shawarma chicken over the rice, covering the surface completely.

Pour the remaining white sauce over the layers of rice and chicken.

Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top (optional).

Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F), then place the dish on the lower rack and bake for 20 minutes until the top is golden.
