Pasta with Pink Sauce

- 1CanPasta sauce
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 400Milliliters (mL)Cooking Cream
- 0.3CupGrated Parmesan cheese
- 0.25CupPasta cooking water
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Oregano
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Dried Basil
- 8BunchBasil
- 1PinchSalt
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 0.25Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika
- 4ClovesMinced garlic
- 2CupOlive oil
- 30Grams (g) Butter

Boil the pasta in a pot of water, adding salt and oil to the water, until cooked, then drain and set aside.

Heat a frying pan over the stove and add olive oil and butter until melted.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for one minute until fragrant.

Add the traditional pasta sauce and stir with the garlic and oil.

Add salt, black pepper, a pinch of oregano, and a pinch of dried basil, and mix well.

Add the chopped fresh basil and continue stirring.

Gradually add the cream and mix well until smooth.

Add a little pasta cooking water to loosen the sauce, if needed.

Add Parmesan cheese and a pinch of paprika, and stir well.

Add the drained pasta to the sauce and mix so all the pasta is coated.

Sprinkle extra oregano on top before serving.

Serve the pasta with pink sauce hot, with extra cheese if desired.
