  • 1CupEspresso
  • 0.58Tablespoons (tbsp)Unsweetened cocoa
  • 1.5CupPowdered sugar
  • 5Cupwater
  • 1Grams (g) Butter

    Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F)

    Prepare a non-stick 20×20 cm cake pan and lightly grease it with butter.

    Mix all the dry ingredients with 1/3 cup of cocoa well

    Add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture and gently mix until just combined — do not overmix.

    Pour the batter into the greased pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

    While the cake is baking, prepare the chocolate sauce by combining powdered sugar, 1/4 cup of cocoa, water, and a pinch of salt until you get a smooth consistency.

    Once the cake has cooled completely, pour the glaze over it and spread evenly.
