    Add the kunafa to the hot ghee.

    Stir the kunafa with the ghee over medium heat until it turns golden in color.

    Remove the kunafa from the heat.

    If the recipe calls for syrup, add ½ cup of sugar syrup to the kunafa.

    Stir the kunafa well with the syrup.

    Leave the kunafa to cool completely.

    Once cooled, stir it again to separate the strands.
