    Wash and dry the leaves well.

    Prepare very cold water with plenty of ice.

    Once the water boils in a pot, add the sugar.

    Start adding the dried molokhia leaves.

    Submerge the leaves in hot water for one minute on low heat.

    Transfer the leaves immediately to the iced water.

  7. 7

    Strain the leaves in a colander.

  8. 8

    Place two large ice cubes on top to keep the green color.

    Pack the molokhia into freezer bags (vacuum sealing preferred).
