Ingredients

  • 2Grams (g) Butter
  • 1Psc.Onion
  • 1Psc.Carrot
  • 1Psc.Potato
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste
  • 200CupRed lentils
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Paprika
  • 1To TasteBlack pepper
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cumin
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1Cupwater
  • 0.5PinchHot chilli powder

    We place a pot on the stove and add 1 large spoonful of butter.

    Add chopped onions, carrots and potatoes, then add a tablespoon of tomato paste.

    We stir the ingredients well to combine.

    We add 200 grams of washed red lentils.

    Add paprika, black pepper, cumin and salt and mix the ingredients well until combined.

    We add 1 liter of water.

    We let it simmer for 30 minutes.

    We blend the soup until smooth using an immersion blender.

    In a frying pan, we melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

    We add 0.5 tablespoon of red pepper flakes and stir.
