Ingredients

  • 1CupEgyptian rice
  • 1CupMilk
  • 0.5Psc.Beef Stock
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ghee
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream

Steps

    Wash and drain the Egyptian rice

    Mix the milk and beef broth together

  3. 3

    Heat the liquid mixture in the microwave until warm

  4. 4

    Place the rice in a clay pot and pour the warm mixture over it

  5. 5

    Add half of the salt according to your taste

  6. 6

    Add the ghee on top of the rice and distribute the fresh cream evenly over it

    Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F)

    Place the pot in the oven and wait until the ghee and cream melt, and a light boil starts to appear

  9. 9

    Reduce the heat to 180°C (356°F) and bake for about 45 minutes or until the top becomes golden and crispy
