Ingredients

- 0.5CupSugar
- 0.5CupRice
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ground mastic
- 3Psc.Lemon leaves
- 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Cream
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Rose water
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Orange blossom water

We mix the milk with sugar, ground mastic, or lime leaves (or both) in a large pot, then place it over medium heat until warm, monitoring it closely.

We add the washed rice and stir well, then let it cook over very low heat, stirring occasionally, until the rice is cooked and the mixture begins to thicken.

If we want a thicker texture, we add half a teaspoon of cornstarch dissolved in one tablespoon of milk and stir well.

We add half a cup of clotted cream or heavy cream to the mixture and stir until fully combined.

We remove the pot from the heat and add the preferred flavor (such as rose water or orange blossom water), then mix the mixture well.

Pour the mixture into serving dishes, then serve it warm or put it in the refrigerator to cool for serving later and decorate it with pistachios and Aleppo roses as desired.
