Pretzel Hot Dog
Ingredients

- 0.5CupOil
- 2Psc.Egg whites
- 2CupSugar
- 2PacketYeast
- 5Tablespoons (tbsp)All-purpose flour
- 4CupMilk powder
- 1PinchSalt
- 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Vinegar
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 2Psc.Yolk
- 1PinchSesame
- 12Psc.Hot Dog

Place the warm milk, oil, egg whites, sugar, yeast, flour, powdered milk, salt, vinegar, and baking powder into the stand mixer.

Knead the mixture on low speed for 10 minutes until you get a soft, slightly sticky dough.

We grease our hands with oil and then assemble the dough and place it in an oiled bowl

Cover it, and let it rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

Once risen, divide the dough into 4 equal parts, then divide each part into 3 to make 12 pieces.

Shape each piece into a long rope.

Wrap each cylinder around a hot dog as shown in the video.

Place them on parchment paper and let them rise again for 30 minutes.

Prepare the polishing mixture by mixing the egg yolk with a tablespoon of milk and a teaspoon of vinegar.

Brush the top of each dough piece with the egg wash. You can sprinkle sesame seeds on top if desired.

Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 15-20 minutes until browned.

Once out of the oven, cover with a clean kitchen towel for 5 minutes to keep them soft.
