Ingredients

  • 1Psc.Red onion
  • 1Cupwater
  • 3Tablespoons (tbsp)White Vinegar

  • 1ClovesGarlic
  • 4Tablespoons (tbsp)Apple vinegar
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Dried red pepper
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 1CupSugar
  • 1Psc.Bay Leaf

Steps

    Slice the red onion thin julienne

    Boil half a cup of water with white vinegar and apple cider vinegar

    Add peppercorns, sugar, salt, dried chili, garlic, and bay leaf

    Dissolve ingredients on heat to release flavors

    Place the sliced onion in a jar

    Pour cold water over the onion partially

    Pour the hot mixture over the onion until covered

    Close the jar and shake to mix
