Naan Bread

- 1Grams (g) Instant yeast

We mix the flour with instant yeast, salt, and baking powder in a deep bowl.

We add the yogurt to the dry ingredients, then mix using a spatula until the texture becomes crumbly.

We transfer the mixture to the stand mixer at the lowest speed, then gradually add the warm water while kneading until we achieve the desired consistency, as shown in the video.

We place the dough in a bowl, lightly grease its surface with oil, cover it, and let it rest for at least an hour.

After the dough has risen, we shape it into a circle, dust it with flour, and divide it into four quarters, then cut each quarter in half.

We take each piece of dough, shape it as shown in the video, and let it rest for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, we heat a griddle or a non-stick pan over the stove until it becomes hot.

We sprinkle a little flour on the work surface, then roll out each dough ball into the desired shape.

We place the bread on the hot pan, and once it starts to puff up, we flip it to the other side until fully cooked.

After cooking all the loaves, we place each loaf directly on the flame, as shown in the video, until it gets a distinctive color.

We brush the bread with butter and garlic immediately after removing it from the heat to add a rich flavor.
