Ingredients

  • 1CupEvaporated milk
  • 1CanSweetened Condensed Milk
  • 1Psc.Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1PinchSaffron
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Clove
  • 1CupMilk
  • 1.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch
  • 1CupSugar
  • 5Teaspoons (tsp)Mastic
  • 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Blossom water
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Pistachios
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)cardamon
  • 1Psc.Ginger

Steps

    Boil water with tea for 5 minutes.

    Add evaporated milk, condensed milk or sugar and stir well.

    Add cinnamon, saffron, cloves, cardamom and ginger and let it boil for 5-7 minutes.

    Strain the drink and serve hot.

    Mix the milk with the starch, sugar and mastic paste or ground mastic in a saucepan over medium heat.

    Stir constantly until the consistency becomes thick and starts to boil.

    Add orange blossom water and stir well.

    Pour the sahlab into cups and garnish with cinnamon, pistachios, and dried roses.
