  • 1CupWalnut
  • 0.5CupYogurt
  • 4Tablespoons (tbsp)Starch

Steps

    Start preparing the bulgur. Place the fine bulgur in a bowl, then add hot water, cover it, and let it soak until it expands.

    In another bowl, melt the ghee over medium heat, then add the chopped onion, stirring until it softens. After that, add the meat and continue stirring until the meat changes color.

    Add salt and black pepper to the meat and cook until it is done. Then, add the toasted pine nuts from the pan as shown in the video, along with the walnuts, and mix the ingredients well.

    After the bulgur expands, place it in a dish and add salt, black pepper, cumin, and paprika. Then, put it in a food processor, gradually adding the onion, followed by 250 grams of meat, and mix well by hand for 10 minutes. If the mixture is too stiff, you can add water gradually.

    To shape the kibbeh, use starch with a little water to open the balls. Form the kibbeh and stuff it with the filling, then set it aside.

    To prepare the yogurt sauce, mix the yogurt, the water with dissolved starch, and additional water, adding salt. Combine the ingredients well, then heat them over the stove while stirring continuously until you reach a creamy consistency.

    After the yogurt boils, add the kibbeh balls and let them cook for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy your delicious kibbeh dish with yogurt!
