Ingredients

- 1CupWalnut
- 3CupSugar
- 3Psc.Cinnamon Sticks
- 3PinchStar Anise
- 2Psc.Lemon juice
Steps

Wash the dried figs thoroughly under running water.

Soak the figs in hot water for half an hour.

Toast the walnuts in a skillet until golden and fragrant.

Coarsely chop the toasted walnuts.

Set aside 4 cups of fig soaking water.

Cut the soaked figs into quarters.

Place 4 cups of fig soaking water in a saucepan

Add the sugar, cinnamon sticks, and star anise seeds.

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat for 10 minutes.

Remove the cinnamon sticks and star anise using a strainer.

We add lemon juice to the mixture.

Add the chopped figs to the mixture and stir gently.

Allow the mixture to boil over medium heat for 30 minutes, skimming off the white foam as it rises to the surface.

Add the chopped walnuts and stir the jam well.
