Ingredients

  • 4Liters (L)Hot water
  • 200CupCold water
  • 3Tablespoons (tbsp)Corn Starch
  • 0.5CupSugar
  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Ground Pistachios
  • 400PacketDried apricot paste

Steps

    Cut the Qamar al-Din (apricot paste) into small pieces

    Soak the pieces in 4 cups of hot water and leave them overnight.

    The next day, blend the soaked Qamar al-Din in a blender until smooth

    In a separate bowl, mix 200 ml of cold water with 3 tablespoons of cornstarch until fully dissolved.

    Add the cornstarch mixture to the blended Qamar al-Din

    Add half a cup of sugar and stir well.

    Cook the mixture over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it starts to boil and thickens

    Pour the mixture into serving glasses.

    Refrigerate the glasses for 3 to 4 hours until set.

    Garnish as desired (e.g., with chopped pistachios, shredded coconut, or dried fruits).
