    Remove the seeds from the peppers.

    Cut the peppers into quarters.

    Place the pepper pieces on a paper towel-lined tray.

    Sprinkle coarse salt over the pepper pieces.

    Place the tray under direct sunlight for 3 days.

    After one day, remove any excess moisture from the peppers.

    Replace the paper towels with fresh ones.

    Add an extra pinch of salt if desired.

    Grind the dried peppers using a meat grinder.

    Store the pepper paste in sterilized jars.

    Add a layer of olive oil on top to preserve it.
