We place 4 eggs, half a cup of sugar, 1.25 cups of pineapple juice

Add teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 cup of vegetable oil in a blender and mix them well.

We sift the flour well

We place 2.5 cups of flour, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and half a teaspoon of salt in a bowl.

We add the blender mixture to the flour bowl and mix them until the batter is well combined.

We grease the cake pan with oil and pour the batter into it.

We bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes

To prepare the sauce, we place ¾ cup of sugar, the juice of one lemon, 1 cup of pineapple juice, and 2 teaspoons of cornstarch in a pan.

We let the sauce cook on low heat until it thickens.

We allow the cake to cool slightly before pouring the sauce over it.

We can also make small donut-shaped cakes and dip them in the sauce

We place the cake and donuts in the fridge until they absorb the sauce well.
