Steps

    Add 500 g of shredded kunafa dough to the ghee.

    Add ½ cup of granulated sugar to the kunafa.

    Stir continuously until the kunafa absorbs the ghee and becomes soft, with some parts turning lightly golden.

    Turn off the heat when the kunafa reaches the desired texture — soft with some golden spots.

    Transfer the kunafa to a serving plate.

    Sprinkle powdered sugar or coarse sugar on top, as desired.
