  • 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
  • 0.5PinchGround saffron
  • 2CupSugar
  • 0.5Grams (g) Instant yeast
  • 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
  • 1Psc.eggs
  • 2CupMilk powder
  • 2.25Cupwater

Steps

    Mix the flour, cardamom, saffron, sugar, yeast, and baking powder in a bowl.

    Gradually add the egg, powdered milk, and water.

    Knead the mixture by hand and then with a blender until the dough becomes smooth and slightly thick.

    Let the dough rest to rise for 15 minutes in a warm place, or 30 minutes if the kitchen is cold.

    Spray the griddle with cooking spray and make sure it is hot.

    Pour a suitable amount of dough onto the griddle to your desired size.

    Cook the dough until it is done on the bottom.

    Flip the Jabab and cook the other side until fully cooked.

    Remove the Jabab from the griddle and place it on a serving plate.

    Serve the Jabab hot with honey or date syrup.
