Ingredients

- 1ClovesMinced garlic
- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Tomato paste

- 300Grams (g) Ground meat
- 0.25CupMinced parsley
- 0.25CupBread crumbs
- 3Psc.Cooked potatoes
- 2Grams (g) Butter
- 0.25CupMilk
- 1To TasteBlack pepper
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Turkish spices

For red sauce: Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the chopped onion Sauté until it wilts, then add the minced garlic

Add the tomato paste, blended tomatoes, Ottoman spices and salt. Mix the ingredients well and keep it on the fire for a few minutes.

For kofta: Mix the minced meat with chopped onion, chopped parsley, cilantro, salt and Ottoman spices. Shape the mixture into kofta balls.

For potatoes: Mash the boiled potatoes then add the butter, milk, salt and black pepper. Stir well until smooth.

In an oven tray or Pyrex, put the red sauce and then place the meatballs on top

Place the potatoes in a bag and place them on top of the kofta balls

We preheat the oven to 190°C (380°F). Then place the tray, and bake for 30 minutes until browned.

We mix all the ingredients for the Ottoman spices together, which are paprika, dried mint, cinnamon, garlic powder, ground cumin, salt, ground black pepper, ground cloves, oregano, red pepper powder, and ground bay leaves.
