Dried Tomatoes
Ingredients

- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Oregano
- 1CupOlive oil
- 1CupCherry tomato

We choose red but not fully ripe tomatoes of similar size

Wash them well, and dry them using a towel.

We cut the tomatoes lengthwise into halves.

We arrange the tomato halves on a baking tray lined with baking paper

place the larger pieces on the sides and the smaller ones in the center, then sprinkle some salt on top.

Bake the tomatoes in a preheated oven at 95°C (200°F) for about 4 hours, removing any pieces that have dried out during this time.

Don't let the pieces dry completely as they should be slightly soft as shown in the video

We return the remaining tomatoes to the oven for another hour until all the pieces are completely dry, then transfer them to a bowl.

We sprinkle oregano over the dried tomatoes and pour enough olive oil to coat them

Mix the ingredients well until combined

We store the dried tomatoes in a clean jar and refrigerate them.
