Ingredients

- 0.5CupSugar
- 0.25CupOil
- 1CupWarm water
- 1CupFlour
- 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 3Tablespoons (tbsp)Unsweetened cocoa
- 1PinchSalt
- 0.5CupMilk
- 130CupChocolate
- 1CupThick cream

In a bowl, beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla until light and foamy.

Add the oil and warm water to the mixture and mix well until fully combined.

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt

Gradually add it to the wet mixture, stirring until you get a smooth cake batter.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.

Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) on the middle rack for 25 to 30 minutes or until fully baked.

Once baked, poke holes into the cake using a wooden skewer, then pour over the ½ cup of milk to soak it and let it cool completely.

To prepare the chocolate sauce, melt the chocolate using a double boiler, then add the cream and stir until smooth and fully blended.

Pour the chocolate sauce over the cooled cake and spread evenly.
