Using scissors, cut the pita bread into small pieces.

Put a teaspoon of ghee on the bread and place it in the air fryer to toast until crispy.

In a saucepan, brown the meat in butter with mastic, a teaspoon of black pepper, bay leaf and cardamom

Add the chopped onion, 1 tablespoon of salt and boiling water to the meat, cover and simmer over low heat until cooked.

Prepare the rice by browning it in butter with two masticated cloves, then add a teaspoon of black pepper and two tablespoons of salt

Add 2 cups of boiling water and 1 cup of broth to the rice, and let it cook until tender.
