We pour the mixture over the bread and let it soak for 5 minutes.

نسكب الخليط فوق شرائح الخبز ونتركها تنقع لمدة ٥ دقائق.

We spray the bread slices with vegetable oil.

نرشّ بخاخ الزيت على وجه الشرائح.

نضعها في المقلاة الهوائية على حرارة 190° لمدة 10 دقائق.

نُذيب السكر في مقلاة لتحضير الكراميل.

We let the caramel cool, then crush it into small pieces.

نترك الكراميل يبرد، ثم نكسره إلى قطع صغيرة.

We grind the crushed caramel in a food processor.

نطحن الكراميل المجروش باستخدام محضرة الطعام.

We air fry for 1 more minute, sprinkle powdered sugar, then fry 30 sec.

Sauté the onions in olive oil until softened.

Add the pepper, turmeric, onion powder, and salt to the meat.

نضيف الفلفل، الكركم، بودرة البصل، والملح إلى اللحم.

نقلب المزيج حتى يمتزج جيداً.

Add the diced potatoes. Stir everything together over high heat.

Add two teaspoons of salt. Cover the pot and cook on high heat.

After five minutes, uncover and add water.

Cover the pot again and simmer until the potatoes are cooked.

How to prepare Sayadiya rice
1. Sauté the onions with vegetable and olive oils until golden brown.
2. Add 4 cups boiling water and blend until the onions are pureed.
3. Add the spices, salt, stock cube, and 2 tbsp fish frying oil.
4. Bring to a boil, then add the rice.
5. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is done.
