    How to prepare Sayadiya rice 1. Sauté the onions with vegetable and olive oils until golden brown. 2. Add 4 cups boiling water and blend until the onions are pureed. 3. Add the spices, salt, stock cube, and 2 tbsp fish frying oil. 4. Bring to a boil, then add the rice. 5. Cover and cook on low heat until the rice is done.
