Ingredients

  • 0.5Teaspoons (tsp)Liquid vanilla

    We take 1 liter of whole milk. Then we set aside ½ cup and pour the remaining milk into a pot.

    Bring the milk to a boil over high heat, then reduce the heat to the lowest setting and let it simmer, stirring every 3-5 minutes until its volume is reduced by half.

    In another pan, heat about ¾ to 1 cup of sugar over low heat, stirring continuously until it melts completely without burning.

    Add the reserved milk to the melted sugar and stir over low heat until it fully blends with the rest of the milk.

    Let the mixture simmer again, stirring continuously, until the volume is reduced to about one-third of the pot.

    Add a cube of butter and a dash of liquid vanilla, mix well until the ingredients are fully incorporated, then turn off the heat.
