Chocolate Cake
Ingredients

- 50Tablespoons (tbsp)Unsweetened cocoa
- 300CupSugar
- 2Psc.eggs
- 0.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 0.75CupMilk
- 0.75Liters (L)Hot water
- 2Teaspoons (tsp)Instant coffee
- 1.5Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 1.5Teaspoons (tsp)Baking soda
- 1CupLiquid cream
- 200Grams (g) Dark chocolate
- 0.5CupHazelnut

Put the coffee in the hot water and stir until it dissolves

In a mixing bowl, combine all the cake ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, sugar, eggs, oil, milk, the hot water mixed with instant coffee, baking powder, and baking soda.

Whisk everything together using a hand or electric mixer for about one minute, or until the batter is smooth and well combined.

Grease a cake pan or line it with parchment paper, then pour in the batter until it fills about three-quarters of the pan.

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F), using both upper and lower heat with a fan if available

Bake the cake for 35 to 40 minutes or until fully baked through.

While the cake is baking, prepare the ganache layer: heat the cream until it just starts to boil, then remove from heat

Add the dark chocolate. Stir until the chocolate is fully melted.

Add the hazelnuts to the ganache and stir until evenly combined.

Once the cake has slightly cooled, spread the ganache and hazelnut mixture evenly over the top, then serve and enjoy!
