Banana Pecan Cake
Ingredients

- 1Tablespoons (tbsp)Baking powder
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cinnamon
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Cardamom powder
- 1PinchSalt
- 3Psc.Ripe banana
- 2Psc.eggs
- 50Grams (g) Butter
- 0.3Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
- 1Teaspoons (tsp)Vanilla
- 0.3Tablespoons (tbsp)Chopped pecans

We preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

In a bowl, we mix the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cardamom, and salt if using.

In another bowl, we mash the bananas well with a fork until smooth.

In a third bowl, we mix the sugar, eggs, soft butter, and vanilla using a hand whisk or electric mixer until well combined.

We add the mashed bananas to the egg mixture and stir until smooth.

We gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and fold everything together using a spatula until fully incorporated.

We gently fold in the chopped pecans.

We pour the batter into a greased or parchment-lined cake pan.

We top the batter with some chopped pecans for garnish.
