  • 10CanArtichoke
  • 0.5Kilograms (kg)Minced Lamb Meat
  • 1Psc.Chopped Onion
  • 1.5Liters (L)Hot water
  • 2CupFlour
  • 5Psc.Lemon juice
  • 1PinchSalt
  • 0.5To TasteBlack pepper
  • 2Psc.Bay Leaf
  • 2Tablespoons (tbsp)Vegetable oil
  • 0.25CupMinced parsley
  • 1CupRoasted pine nuts

Steps

    Fry the artichoke bases in vegetable oil for 3/4 of a minute on each side until lightly browned.

    Boil the fried artichoke bases in hot water with lemon juice for 5 minutes

    Finely chop one onion.

    Sauté the chopped onion in vegetable oil until softened

    Add the minced lamb, black pepper, and bay leaves to the pan, and stir until the lamb is fully cooked.

    Arrange the boiled artichokes in a baking dish.

    Fill each artichoke base with the cooked lamb mixture

    In a separate bowl, mix two tablespoons of flour with the artichoke boiling liquid and add salt.

    Pour the mixture over the stuffed artichokes.

    Bake for half an hour until golden brown and cooked through.
